Align Desk ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android application. In short: we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All processing happens locally on your device.
Information We Collect
Align Desk does not collect any personal information. We do not have accounts, sign-ins, analytics, or telemetry. No data about you or your files is ever sent to our servers or any third party.
Permissions We Use
The app requests the following Android permissions, used solely for core functionality:

Camera
Used exclusively by the "Scan PDF" feature to capture documents with your camera. Images are processed locally and saved to your device. No images are uploaded or stored by us.
- 📂
Storage / Media Access
Used to read and write PDF files on your device. This allows the app to scan your local directories for PDFs and to save converted or merged documents. Your files never leave your device.
- 🏠
Default Home App (Launcher)
Required to function as your Android home screen. This permission does not grant access to any personal data.
Third-Party Services
Align Desk is distributed through Google Play. When you download the app, Google Play's own privacy policy governs that interaction. Outside of distribution, the app does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or cloud services.
Data Retention
We do not retain any user data because we do not collect any. All PDF files and settings remain on your device and are under your full control. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored app data.
Children's Privacy
Align Desk is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
